Electric Car Scrapping

A company leading the future.
Auto-R’s Business Division of SuhRyung Machinery Co., Ltd. is
a specialized recycler of eco-friendly vehicles.

We focus on eco-friendly vehicles such as hybrid cars and electric cars. Through merchandising and processing, we export whole vehicles, remanufacture and reuse parts, and contribute to carbon reduction.

Battery return-required vehicles

Electric cars registered (based on registration date) on or before December 31, 2020, and subsidized by the government are obligated to return the used battery upon scrapping. (Confirm via vehicle registration and inquire with the local government that paid the subsidy.) You must check battery return status before deregistration.

Battery return-exempt vehicles

Electric cars registered on or after January 1, 2021, have no battery return obligation. The battery remains the property of the car owner.
