Auto-R - CAR SCRAPPING - Types of Car Scrapping and Documents

Conditional scrapping for vehicles with seizure (such as local tax, vehicle tax, or health insurance fees) or lien that cannot be cleared immediately, but meet the vehicle age requirement for scrapping
(Note: Unresolved seizure or lien does not disappear, it remains under the owner’s name)
Scrapping conditions - Based on the vehicle type listed on the registration certificate
Passenger vehicles: 11 years or older from the registration date
Passenger vans or cargo trucks: 10 years or older from the registration date
Medium to large or special cargo trucks: 12 years or older from the registration date

Local district office	For adults	Owner’s basic certificate: Shows the date of death Owner’s family relations certificate (detailed): List of persons with inheritance rights Copies of IDs of family members listed on the family relations certificate
	For minors	Minor Basic Certificate Family relations certificate Seal certificate of legal guardian Consent form
	When the owner cannot be reached	Attach the court judgment
Scrap yard	Inheritance waiver affidavit	Designate one heir among those listed on the family relations certificate as the inheriting party, and have the remaining heirs submit an inheritance waiver affidavit Attach copies of IDs for all family members

When the corporation is fully liquidated	Certificate of business closure Certified copy of corporate registration Seal of the representative at the time of closure Power of attorney stamped with the representative’s seal
